Your physician may refer you to a Hospitalist for treatment during your stay at WRH.  Hospitalists manage patients through the continuum of hospital care, often seeing patients in the ER, managing their inpatient care and coordinate after-hospital care. 

The hospitalist doesn't replace your primary care doctor, but serves as a valuable liaison to support your doctor when you are hospitalized.  You return to your doctor's care after discharge.  Teamwork and coordination are at the heart of Woodward Regional Hospital's Hospitalist Program.
