The Obstetrics Unit has eight patient rooms, two birthing rooms, and two sterile delivery rooms. The newborn nursery, licensed for ten bassinets, is easily accessible by the nurses and is staffed constantly when a newborn is admitted.

C-section deliveries are performed in sterile delivery rooms.

A state-of-the-art Infant Abduction system is on the unit and abduction drills are conducted on a routine basis. A new Central Fetal Monitoring system enables the OB staff to monitor four laboring patients simultaneously from the nurse’s station.
