The Radiology Department provides diagnostic imaging services for both inpatients and outpatients.
 Services: · General Radiology – Includes two general x-ray rooms, one radiographic/fluoroscopy room, one portable x-ray unit, one portable fluoroscopic C-arm, and one daylight film processor. The entire radiology department now utilizes digital technology.
· Mammography – Includes one dedicated film/screen mammographic x-ray equipment with stereotactic capability for both screening and diagnostic mammograms.
· Computed Tomography – Includes one C.T. unit with axial, coronal, sagital, and 3-D reconstruction capabilities.
· Ultrasound – Includes three ultrasound units with software and multiple probes for performing general ultrasound studies as well as color vascular doppler studies, echocardiography, and transvaginal imaging.
· Nuclear Medicine – Includes one nuclear gamma camera equipped with a computer for image processing, one dose calibrator, and one radiation survey meter.
· MRI – Mobile MRI services (Siemens 1.5T Expert) are provided by Alliance Imaging each Wednesday and Saturday.
· Cardiac Catherization Laboratory – Mobile Cardiac Cath Lab services are available weekly and may be scheduled through the Cardiologists in the Specialty Care Center. This digital combination laboratory performs cardiac and peripheral studies. | |
